San Feliciano, situato sulla costa sud-est del lago Trasimeno, è un antico e importante insediamento di pescatori, risalente al XIII secolo D.C., che collegava e collega la terra a Isola Polvese e offre una combinazione unica di bellezze naturali, tradizioni secolari e cultura locale.
Al suo interno è possibile visitare la Chiesa, dove è presente un piccolo giardino con terrazza che si affaccia sul lago, il Museo della Pesca, dove è riportata la storia del lago e vari reperti storici, al porto di San Feliciano è presente la nostra sede di Green Rent, mentre, poco dopo il paese, è presente una spiaggia dove potersi rilassare. Il paese, a Luglio, ospita la “Sagra del Giacchio”, la quale prende il nome dalla tecnica di pesca che in passato veniva praticata.
Monte del lago è un piccolo borgo arroccato su un promontorio a picco sul lago Trasimeno, tra Torricella e San Feliciano, che offre spettacoli panorami e una spiaggia dove potersi rilassare.
Monte del Lago, un tempo “Mons Fortegianus”, è una delle rocche situate sulle sponde del Trasimeno, le cui mura risalgono al 1312, e seguendone il percorso, è possibile ammirare la Porta Trasimena e visitare la Chiesa di S. Andrea, con un grande affresco della Crocifissione.
Monte del Lago ospita, in estate, l’evento del festival delle Corrispondenze, nell’ambito del Premio Nazionale Vittoria Aganoor Pompilj.
